Our Story

Our inspiration behind starting this ministry has come after serving in traditional full time ministry for several years in different churches in states across Southeast US. We noticed a trend in all our churches of putting a higher focus on tradition, nostalgia and increasing church membership over spiritual growth and maturity, accountability, church discipline and discipleship. At the same time, we saw a hunger for more from the church that wasn’t being met time and time again.

The church has been reluctant to change, many Christians especially in the younger generation are leaving the church. Many people in the church refuse to change and therefore will not grow. In addition, many people have experienced church hurt or have been discouraged by a lack of spiritual discipline within the church.

God began moving in each of our hearts, giving us a passion for reshaping the way we ‘do church’ to meet the current spiritual needs of believers, cultivate authentic faith, train believers in discipleship, and equip them to defend and share the Gospel of Christ. However, it wasn’t until God called us to serve along side each other that our shared passion became a conviction and thus, DDS Faith was born. DDS stands for Deepen, Defend and Share your Faith. It is our goal to help and encourage fellow Christians deepen their relationship with Christ through daily studying the Word and digging deep into it always expanding their knowledge and understanding of God.

We want to help train believers to be able to defend their faith by teaching them a foundational knowledge of apologetics and discipleship. Finally, equipping the saints with the tools to always be ready to share the Gospel and their personal testimonies. Finally, it is our prayer that churches across the nation will evaluate their current programs and traditions for effectiveness and fruitfulness and be open to changing in order to evolve with the current times in efforts meet the current spiritual needs of every generation.
